Here are some samples of our work, all of these images are hyperlinks to the actual websites:
East West Interknit (nee East West Ministries) is one of our oldest sites. The site was launched in early 2005 when it was implemented in Fusion. In 2007 it was converted to use Drupal. This site is proof that non-technical users can maintain an attractive, user friendly, website.
The Deadalus Quartet is an outstanding, award winning, string quartet headquartered in New York City. Their site requires a very distinctive look. This site is built using RoopleTheme's BealeStreet Theme with considerable customization. Note that the banner does not appear on the front page. In addition to its excellent photographs, the site also serves (allows the visitor to listen to) the group's entire premier performance at Alice Tully Hall in New York's Lincoln Center.
Scott Walters Construction, Inc. is a contracting company in Burnsville, MN that operates primarily in the Twin Cities and souther suburbs. They specialize in very high quality kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The image shown on the front page is one of several that automatically rotate showing an overviews of selected projects. Each image is linked to its project page making it easy for the site visitor to see details of the project. This site is visually very rich with many high quality photographs of projects. Each project page (example below) displays thumbnail images which link to a "Lightbox" display of larger images. Most of the images have been taken in very high resolution by a professional photographer. The site has automation features that allow the original, very large (>10 MB), images to be uploaded and automatically resized to smaller images suitable for display on the Internet. The background image on most of the sites pages was derived from a photograph of one of the company's master bathroom remodeling projects. One of the project pages features an automatic slideshow presentation that was derived from a PowerPoint presentation created by the homeowner to chronicle her kitchen remodelling project.
The Calvary Kenya Project website uses many fine photographs to tell its story. The site features relatively large "thumbnails" that are hyperlinks to expanded images that automatically become pagable overlaid slide shows. The site also has an embedded video, with audio, contained on the bottom of the front page. |
